Amy Augustine
Amy Augustine was born in Phoenix, Arizona. She received Bachelors and Masters
Degrees from Northern Arizona State University in Flagstaff, Arizona.
In 1997 Ms. Augustine moved to California to attend law school. She is a graduate
of Whittier Law School, Costa Mesa, California, and is a member of the California
Bar Association and the Orange County Bar Association.
Amy has been with our firm since October of 2001, and provides legal advice
and assistance related to all segments of the health care industry, including
multi-disciplinary clinics and managed care organizations. Amy provides transactional
services and is heavily involved in formation and maintenance of corporations
and other entities. She has experience in regulatory issues as well as licensing
issues.
Ms. Augustine also practices in federal and state regulatory compliance issues,
including the formation and operation of ambulatory surgical centers and MRI
facilities; compliance analyses of physician investments and other business
transactions involving health care professionals; and providing compliance advice
to health care professionals with respect to a wide array of practice management
issues.
In addition to her legal expertise, Amy has played the violin for over twenty-five
years and is an accomplished concert violinist. She still performs in a string
quartet in the Southern California area.
